Norwegian Starch.

For the first time tonight Channing and I made homemade chicken noodle soup with dumplings, carrots, celery, chicken broth, and potatoes.  My goodness was it delicious!  We cook supper together every night and once a week we surprise each other with something that we make ourselves.  Well, tonight we decided to mix our families recipes together into one big “melting pot!”  My moms homemade soup has always consisted of hamburger, onions, celery, carrots, beef broth, potatoes, and dumplings.  Channings dad’s homemade soup is made with noodles, chicken, chicken broth, biscuits, carrots, and potatoes.  What else was there to do than take our favorite things from both and make our own soup; Norwegian Starch.  Neither of us like onions; I prefer chicken over hamburger and Channing loves noodles so it worked out perfectly.
Yum!
